Volunteers needed for Picture Day and Book Fair
Preschool Parents:
We are still in need of 2 volunteers for picture days Oct 4 and 5. We need 2 volunteers in the a.m. from 8:50 – 11:05 and 2 in the afternoon from 12:50 – 3:05 each day. Please email Erica Koons at ekoons18@yahoo.com if you can volunteer. Also, book fair still needs volunteers. Please contact Amy King if you can help!

Reporting Absences
If your child will not be attending preschool, please call the absence reporting line at 777-2222.
For AM Students – press 1292
For PM Students – press 1289
Then leave your student’s name, teacher’s name and the reason for the absence.
If your child rides the bus, it is no longer necessary to call the bus garage to report your child will be absent, per the Transportation Dept.

Celebrate the end of Summer with the Best Deal for Zoombezi Bay for Labor Day Weekend!!!
In coordination with the Columbus Zoo and Columbus Kids, we are announcing a Labor Day weekend “Back to School” celebration. The Zoo is allowing us to offer you $10 tickets for admission to both Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo to be used on either Saturday Sept 3rd, Sunday Sept 4th, or Monday Sept 5th.
In addition to this great deal, 5% of all ticket sales purchased by families will go back to the PTO. This money, along with all other funds earned by the PTO, goes directly back into the school to make it an outstanding place for our kids to learn.

New Phone Number
The Preschool’s new phone number: 921-5050.
The entire district is converting to a new phone system. We are hoping it will better meet the needs of our students, families and staff.
Health Information
Now that a new school year has begun, we know another flu season is not far behind. As we did with the outbreak of the swine influenza A (H1N1) last spring, we want to remind our parents of the measures we take to provide our students with a clean, safe learning environment and the precautions families can exercise to stay healthy.
Currently, there are no known cases of the H1N1 virus in our school district. However, we continue to monitor advisories from federal, state and local public health authorities. We also track student and staff attendance. We will continue to keep our community informed as we move into the traditional flu season. read more…
