Next Steps in Technology Integration to be Shared at Online Lunch
Hilliard City Schools intends to use research and information from months of student, staff and community dialogue to determine how to move forward with personal devices and technology integration in the classroom. Superintendent John Marschhausen, Ph.D., will share these findings and the district’s vision for how to integrate personal electronic devices for students during the March 11, 2014 Online Lunch with the Superintendent.
The session begins at noon and lasts about an hour. Participants simply need to go to the district’s website, www.hilliardschools.org, and click on the link to join the online discussion. Residents, parents and community leaders are encouraged to join the discussion and may begin logging in as early as 11:30 a.m. You may read more about these next steps in the Get Connected blog at http://bit.ly/1i9Nud6.
Hilliard Schools’ Flyers Move Online
We’ve all experienced the frustration of sifting through all the papers in the backpack searching for the one thing that may be of interest to our family. In many cases we simply dump the entire stack, sometimes missing the important note from the teacher or the great opportunity from the PTO. At Hilliard City Schools we want to be responsive to parent requests and create a better experience for all families while also being more environmentally friendly and cost effective in our operations.
Starting March 1st all PTO, Booster and community group fliers will be available online in the Hilliard Schools’ Flyer Connection <http://www.hilliardschools.org/flyers/> . This means no more printing expenses for school groups and better communication with parents! All fliers will be available in one location and parents can search by school or school grade level to find out about all the great things going on. Simply click here <http://www.hilliardschools.org/flyers/> to find out about great opportunities for your student today!
